Oona Mäkelä is a Helsinki based illustrator and designer. She has accomplished her studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and graduated with a master’s degree.
Oona’s style is recognisable for its versatile use of line, spatial elements and the play between abstract and figurative. Her illustrations are an interesting combination of stylish colors, humorous details and the strong sense for shapes and graphic elements. Oona has a passion for new artistic innovation and development and she loves to participate in different kinds of projects.
