Sofia Pusa’s award-winning illustrations elevate everyday moments into luxurious, dreamlike visuals, merging surreal imagination with a refined, painterly aesthetic. Her work layers rich textures, vivid color, and emotive detail to create worlds that feel both familiar and enchantingly unexpected.
Drawing inspiration from Finnish forests, fleeting memories and moments suspended between reality and imagination, Sofia transforms the ordinary into something softer, stranger, and luminously captivating. Her clients include Google, Adobe, Lumene, Panda, Kämp Galleria, and the City of Helsinki. Her work has been recognized by ADC Awards (US), Applied Arts Design Awards (CA), and the 3×3 Illustration Show (US), and she has served as a juror for Vuoden Huiput, Finland’s premier creative competition.
In addition to her illustration work, Sofia hosts the (In)Decisive Moments podcast and serves on Adobe’s Community Advisory Board, helping shape industry standards for transparency and content protection.
