Illustrator legend Mauri Kunnas and Posti, one of Napa Agency’s longest-standing customers are collaborating yet again! As a result Posti has unveiled a set of cheerful and colorfully vibrant Christmas stamps. Napa Agency’s Jenna Kunnas also brought her own creative expertise to this collaboration by executing the graphic design of the stamps.
Posti’s Design Manager Tommi Kantola, responsible for stamp production, artist selections, and art direction, heard that Napa has begun working with Mauri Kunnas. He immediately suggested to Mauri if a return to stamp designs would be possible. Kunnas has designed stamps with Tommi before with great success, but it had been 20 years since his last set.

After a meeting and brainstorming session, gingerbread was chosen as the theme for the Christmas stamps. The cheerful illustrations by the widely beloved Mauri Kunnas bring smiles to people’s faces – as will the upcoming Christmas stamps, in which a parade of gingerbread cookies joyfully dance on a baking sheet and sing in Santa Claus’s choir.
How wonderful for the collaboration between Kunnas and Napa Agency to begin with such a fine and significant release!
The Christmas greeting forever stamp will be published in a sheet of 20 stamps, and the domestic forever stamp in a sheet of 10 stamps. The stamps will be released on 5.11.
