Finnish textile design is in high demand in Japan, and Napa Agency’s Jenna Kunnas is a prime example of this! Jenna’s latest demonstration of her skills in textile design for the Asian market has been the patterns licensed for Japanese shopping center brand Marushin’s textile products.
The latest product release under Marushin’s “Polku” brand includes designs both familiar and new for the product family. Jenna’s characteristic nature-inspired design themes decorate items such as throws, pouches, and slippers.
Abundant details and a sense of rhythm are characteristic for Jenna’s patterns but nature, one of Jenna’s passions, is an essential part of Jenna’s pattern designs. In the “Polku” products you can find many nature-inspired elements including roses, trees and forests as well as other flowers and plants.
What’s extra-special about this collaboration is that part of the sales revenue from Marushin’s “Polku” brand goes to support OISCA’s “Children’s Forest” program. Children participating in the program learn about the importance of trees, forests, biodiversity and a clean environment through practical tasks.
This wonderful project was carried out in collaboration with our Japanese partner ANDfika.
