Kinkmoles are imaginary characters based on Ilona Partanen’s childrensbook. “Minä olen Sykkyrämyyrä!” (I’m a Kinkmole!) is published by Sammakko in 2018. The characters were created nearly ten years ago though, and have evolved and taken various new forms.

Paper and plywood products have followed the book, among them: posters, wall calendar, cards and last but not the least, the AAKO Coasters for BravooxNapa -design product series. The visual world of the Kinkmoles has been the inspiration in the pattern designs, some of them are even based on the characters clothing.
