At the end of last year, we were glad to take part in a significant project – we helped the Ministry of Justice Finland spread an important message to the world. Napa Agency’s multi-talented Samuli Siirala created the character illustrations and animations for the “Missing Factor” video. The brilliant team at Republic was responsible for the video’s production and script.

The animation was created as part of the Peer Action against Hate, a project coordinated by the Ministry of Justice Finland. The animation illustrated by Samuli aims to improve the effectiveness of addressing racism, discrimination and hate crimes through peer learning with the support of authorities and civil society actors. The characters in the animation speak to the viewer with their own stories and emphasize that it is You who are the change-maker!

The entire 1:30-minute video can be found on YouTubesta. You can see Samuli Siirala’s skilful illustrations in his portfolio. More lightly animated illustrations can be found on the Napa Motion page.
